jiazhouhi, i'm nimothy jones. pleasure to meet you. i didn't understand why people hop accounts but now i really do. it's not the digital footprint but the need to shed like snakeskin <3 still they/them
past interests include books (gamut of tradpub/comics/manga/manhua/manhwa/tl'd webnovels & almost never light novels), bitter pining, side characters, apocryphal rumours, gnarly relationship dynamics (love divorce, meh on finding love after they die), yearning music, failing/flop friendships, astrology when it is being positive and even moreso when it is negative, roguelike games and narratives, acuity of thought and sentiment, deeply fine food and sometimes making things for the love of the game.
i currently like dignity, a little of sincerity paired with intent, and silence that never becomes too large. i don't like a lot of soulmate aus because they're too coarse with the execution. i like fantasy more than sci-fi because even mediocre fantasy usually has to serve up something character-driven and sci-fi leans more on the world itself. happy to be given examples that read otherwise. yes i know about murderbots and becky chambers. i need to learn about dialectical materialism because alienation is not the tipping point mcgowan.
